This page is for users of the GomiGuide Japan app (developer: Cagri Gider). It explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it.
How to request deletion
Use either method. You do not need both.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open GomiGuide Japan on your phone.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete Account & Data (or Erase All Data if you are not signed in).
- Confirm. This cannot be undone.
If you signed in with Google or Sign in with Apple, the app may ask you to sign in once more to confirm.
Option 2 — By email
- Email cagri.gider.business@gmail.com with the subject GomiGuide Japan account deletion.
- Tell us it is for GomiGuide Japan and, if you can, the email on the Google or Apple account you used in the app.
- We complete email requests within 30 days (usually sooner) and reply when it is done.
What we delete
- Saved addresses and labels (ward / chōme)
- Reminder and language preferences
- Your GomiGuide Japan account (anonymous Firebase ID, and Google or Apple sign-in if you used it)
- Cloud backup of that account in Firestore
- Notification tokens tied to that account
Uninstalling the app removes data on that device only. Cloud backup is removed only by Option 1 or Option 2 above.
What we keep, and for how long
- Email you send us — kept while we process the request, then deleted. Copies in email backups are purged within 30 days.
- Crash logs (Firebase Crashlytics) — may remain for up to 90 days, then expire. They are not used to identify you after account deletion.
- Anonymous product analytics — coarse event counts without your search text or address labels. After your account is gone they are not linked to you. Google Firebase may retain such events under its own retention (typically up to 14 months).
- In-app tips / purchases — processed by Google Play or Apple. GomiGuide Japan does not store card details. Store transaction records stay with Google or Apple under their policies.
- Legal holds — if we are required by law to keep a record, we keep only what the law requires and no longer.
Municipal garbage schedules shown in the app are public open data, not your personal data, and are not deleted when you delete your account.

メールで
cagri.gider.business@gmail.com に件名「GomiGuide Japan account deletion」で連絡してください。 30日以内に対応します。
削除するもの: 保存した住所、リマインダー設定、アカウント、クラウドバックアップ、通知トークン。
端末からアプリを消すだけではクラウド上のデータは残りません。必ず上記の手順を使ってください。
残るもの: 対応中のメール（その後30日以内にバックアップからも削除）、クラッシュログ（最大90日）、個人に紐づかない匿名の利用イベント、Google Play / Apple 側の決済記録。
